GOST 4651 Plastics – Compression Test Method
GOST 4651 establishes a compression test method for plastics.
The standard defines the dimensions of the sample for testing, its length is set to prevent the impact of the loss of sample stability when a load is applied to the test
result, the range of test speeds is also set.
The standard method involves the use of samples that can be made by molding, machining from finished products or semi-finished products, such as molded
blanks, laminated plastics and sheets obtained by extrusion or casting.
The standard sets sample sizes for testing.
