Certified Portland Cement Standard Reference Materials are issued by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for the validation

and calibration of various cement tests and testing apparatus.

Each single-use Portland cement reference sample is a dry powder sealed in a vial or foil pouch.

No. 1884b is is a standard reference material used for validation of test methods prescribed in ASTM C114/AASHTO T 105 for x-ray spectroscopic

and chemical analysis of Portland cement products.

The cement is ground to pass through a 75μm (No. 200) sieve.

Supplied with NIST certificate of analysis in 5 sealed vials, each with approximately 4.5g of cement.
