Certified Portland Cement Standard Reference Materials are issued by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for the validation

and calibration of various cement tests and testing apparatus. Each single-use Portland cement reference sample is a dry powder sealed in a vial or foil pouch.

NIST Portland Cement, No. 46h is a standard reference material used to establish a sieve correction factor for the 45µm (No. 325) sieve employed in the

ASTM C430/AASHTO T 192 cement fineness test.

It is also certified as an alternative in applications where the  (NIST 114q) material is used. Supplied in 10 sealed vials of approximately 5g of cement.
